I agree - this is what I would do. With a project of 1700+ tasks, it's a bit sluggish. Hopefully 2.0.5 will fix that - then I'll donate away.--Andrewbrick 21:36, 19 August 2007 (MSD)
I agree that my other way i will donate is if i actually end up using the app for a couple of real projects and can see implementing it on a broader scale. You really should consider altering the survey to offer that option as well.
Well, one can always change his answer. It is possible to select "No, never" now and change it to "Yes" later. Perhaps, the words "never" and "right now" are a little bit confusing?
On the survey I suggest you add "Ability to use a Java based tool" - several people dont have permissions to be able to install s/w or are otherwise limited by company policy, but can run java applets ok. --- The "discussion forums" link is broken.
a few proposals
I have repeating tasks. It looks as though I must add each repeat as though it is a new task. It would be great to have a way to say 'repeat this task every week' or month or ... well, you get the idea.
I found all the idea - hive / community / collaborative-work-environment - more than interesting! Excellent!
So I already started to add a few words to my personal page here, although it will not be for the moment public; but why not? isn't that the idea? Beside the Main Page, is there any other page? I would love to see your project growing (templates, artwork galleries, tools, documentation etc.), as you suggested. Can we start it?... Effectively (I wanted to edit the main page to put a link to a subpage and start editing there, say, a page for architects and architectural practices).
Good thing you added the ganttproject.org in the sidebar, but the links are not working, except the home page - or at least not now, not for me :(

Can we integrate GanttProject with the wider OpenSource community here? I mean, discuss integrative solutions (with OpenOffice.org, for instance), general GTD solutions using GanttProject.org, wikis etc.?
Where can I find more about managing projects over the Internet (web-based)?
Publicity might be an issue. Like how come GP still is not mentioned on the portablefreeware nor portableapps?
Require Skill for GANTT PROJECT
I am a worker in Control Project Area, every single day, and I know it was required for industry. We have 2 schedule software in the market: Microsoft Project and Primavera Project Planner. I like how MS Project worked, but this software is not able for several important issues. It is not able for use a diferent resource that Manhours. I need to use other consumible resourse, like brik,concrete, mass excavation, and leveling for every each of those resourses. Then I have the ocupational Curve of Materials. Another thing is sorting for diferent criteria. And to have layout that remenber the last configuration done for me.
More donation options
I would suggest adding the "maybe" option as an answer to the donation question on the survey.
